Who we are
CAS Architects, Inc. has been a part of Silicon Valley since our founding in 1978, participating in the growth of the region alongside nascent and established companies. We take great pride in providing personal, quality service and have established a track record of developing and maintaining long-term client relationships. We produce creative, well-considered designs that enhance the human experience and help articulate our client’s values. Inherent problem solvers, we are excited for design challenges and meet them with innovation and graceful solutions.
Currently a 26 person firm, CAS hosts seven licensed architects and interior designers on staff, four of whom are also LEED certified. We stay active within our community, teach at local educational institutions, and are involved with professional associations. Our work has received professional recognition and several design awards.
What We Do
CAS provides comprehensive architectural services to meet the demanding and dynamic needs of our clients, whether for planning and designing corporate campuses, new building shells, build-to-suits, or interior tenant improvements and remodels. We specialize in designing advanced technology projects for high-profile and start-up companies from the semiconductor/micro-electronics, clean/renewable energy, and life science industries and are extremely adept at tackling highly technical spaces such as cleanroom and laboratory environments for research and manufacturing. We also have experience in commercial, retail, and restaurant projects.
With a commitment towards sustainability, we have several completed LEED-certified projects under our belts. We advocate a blend of economic decision vetting and context-driven design principles while maintaining the highest respect for the natural environment.

The always-evolving nature of technological change demands that we begin each project with an open-minded, creative approach to problem solving. Open communication and full team participation sit at the heart of our core values, allowing an integrated approach that is critical to our projects’ success. We have successfully worked on many projects where there were multiple stakeholders and understand how to orchestrate a project through a complex design, construction, and approval process.
CAS has earned the respect and trust of the regulatory officials in the Bay Area due to our proactive approach to sharing a project’s design intent. Similarly, our documentation and drawings are held in high regard by contractors and consultants for their thoroughness and clarity. Our internal review processes ensure we deliver on our dual commitments to design quality and constructability.
